I believe curiosity is what I firmly believe what drives me to move and re-search its existence.
As Kathak Dancer by practice, my Masters research was about a dying Martial arts tradition form of Bengal: Lathi Khela. This involved understanding of ICH, ethnographic methods, and also a Photo Docu Book in collaboration with UNESCO (in progress) along with Lubna Marium. In my work, I like to incorporate interdisciplinarity, from live sound design and projection to performance installation, currently associated with a project with Khoj Artists Association & Goethe Institut Delhi. My current research and core passion lies in dance and the camera and the dynamics of the two and my further explorations would perhaps lie around this, especially when it is a subject at a nascent stage in India. This interest has landed me into taking a tailor-made course on Mediated Choreography, at Ashoka University, India.
