Robson was born Brazil, in a mixed family generated by European and Brazilian displacements. Coming from a mixed and spiritual personal background (his grandma was a Folk Healer and his father a Spiritualist) he is currently in his second year of the Choreomundus Master programme, and his research is focused on investigating and recording disappearing traditional healing and possession rituals in São Tomé e Príncipe, Western-Africa. Having grown up surrounded by religious rituals, traditional dances and cultural values, this foundation allowed him to notice the positive impact that intangible cultural heritage can bring to a people's perspectives and worldviews. His research interests include rituals, politics, gender differences and their connections to the traditions in their local contexts, racial and gender differences, democracy and human rights
