I was born in İzmir on June 22nd, 1985.
I completed my educations in İzmir. I graduated in 2009 from Ege University Sports Management Department of Physical Education and Sports Management. I have been practicing Salon and Latin dances, mainly Turkish Folk Dances, for about 20 years and at the same time I am also trainer.
In 2011, I started my first master education in Ege University Institute of Social Sciences Turkish Folk Dances Department. After having my first year education there, I went to San Francisco to study English and take my dance career a step further and I taught Turkish Folk Dances for 2 years.
In 2014 I was awarded a postgraduate degree in Norwegian University of Science and Technology in the field of dance knowledge, practice and heritage. Since Choreomundus has been an international master program with privileged master's degree, I have been regularly trained by precious and valuable dance anthropologists in Trondheim / NORWAY, Clermont-Ferrand / FRANCE and SZEGED / HUNGARY cities. I successfully completed the program in September 2016. My thesis title is: "Contextualizing the Zeibekiko dance Practices in the Lesvos Island."
I am currently working as a Dance Artist in the State Turkish World Dance and Music Ensemble.
