After a Bachelor Degree in Anthropological Sciences completed at the University of Bologna, Sara continues her education through the International Master Choreomundus – Erasmus Mundus in Dance Knowledge, Practice and Heritage. Dance and Anthropology flows together in her studies, research and practice: as a dance anthropologist she equally dedicates to both, the academia and the choreutic practice, experimentation, creation. The Indian classical dance Bharatanatyam has been so far at the centre of her practice, together with several kinds of contemporary dances, as well as at the centre of her anthropological research. In particular she is interested in Queer or LGBTIQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer) experiences related to this specific dance form.
